How to Volunteer for This Opportunity

Volunteers are asked to commit to a 3–4 hour working shift during Unity Classical Charter School’s Night of Excellence Gala. Shifts will take place between 4:00 PM and 9:30 PM, with specific arrival and release times confirmed in advance based on assigned roles.

This is a working volunteer opportunity. Volunteers will actively support event operations in exchange for complimentary entry to the gala. Roles may include guest check-in, silent auction support, sponsor and guest assistance, program support, or event set-up and breakdown.

Volunteers must arrive on time for a brief orientation and be prepared to remain engaged throughout their assigned shift. Some roles may require early arrival or extended standing.

Dress Code: Black tie / formal attire is required. Volunteers should dress professionally and be comfortable standing, walking, and interacting with guests in a formal event environment.

    Requirements:

    • Must be 21+ years or older
    • Reliable, professional, and friendly demeanor
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced event setting

All volunteers will receive clear instructions and a designated point of contact prior to and during the event. Each role is essential to the success of the gala, and volunteers are asked to fully commit to their assigned shift.
