    Home projects are usually organized on the weekend, and will need to be scheduled within a month of when the need is received.

    Other Requirements:
    For ramp/accessibility projects, basic construction skills are needed (how to use a drill, etc). We can really use people with home repair skills, too - there is a lot of unmet need in this area.

    Description

    Home Projects Volunteer

    Work on a team for one of our home projects - ramp / stairway / deck construction, painting, yard work, home cleaning. Let us know what sorts of projects you'd be willing to work on, and we'll schedule you when a need comes in.

    Volunteer groups from churches or other organizations are welcome on these projects, as they're usually larger in scope. Let us know that you want to serve, and we'll work with you to match you with a neighbor in need.

    If you have home repair & renovation skills, we could also use you on some individual projects. There is currently a lot of unmet need for home repairs among our neighbors.
