    Description

There are many residents in long-term care facilities that do not get regular visitors. The Volunteer Ombudsman advocate for residents by talking with residents to communicate concerns, providing information about residents' rights, listening, supporting and empowering residents. We work with your schedule, location, and provide training. Volunteer with Catawba Area Agency on Aging Volunteer Ombudsman Program to address isolation and loneliness often experienced by residents living in long-term care facilities, especially residents without family. Help make a difference in someone's quality of life!
