    🌍 Global Volunteer Invitation – Buwenge Shared Hope Ministry (Uganda)

    About us

    Buwenge shared hope ministry (BSHM) is a faith-based community organization in eastern Uganda dedicated to building hope and a future for orphans, vulnerable children, youth, and women. Since 2020, we’ve been empowering lives through education, vocational training, sustainable farming, feeding programs, and youth mentorship.

    Our vision is a strong entity that builds hope and a future for orphans and other vulnerable children, preparing the youth and women to cope with the competitive life situations in Uganda.

    Volunteer opportunities

    We welcome volunteers from all nations who have a heart to serve and make a lasting difference! You can volunteer short-term (2–8 weeks) or long-term (3 months and above).

    Areas you can serve include:

    • Teaching & education support – assist in classrooms, tutor children, teach English or life skills.
    • Community farming & sustainability projects and agricultural projects.
    • Digital & media support – help with social media, photography, video editing, or website design.
    • Women empowerment & vocational training – teach tailoring, business skills, or health education.
    • Youth mentorship & sports coaching – use sports and mentorship to inspire local youth.
    • Childcare & counselling – support orphans and vulnerable children emotionally and socially.
    • Health & hygiene education – participate in community outreach and health awareness activities.
