    Description

    Brighten Someone's Day

Tidewell Hospice is in search of volunteers willing to provide visits to our patients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Some of these patients have few, if any visits. Visits can be brief, but are extremely meaningful to the patient and their family. Reading out loud, playing music, or just pushing a wheelchair outside or to an activity makes a huge difference. Opportunities throughout Manatee County.

Opportunities are generally flexible. Orientation and thorough training provided. Volunteers have access to ongoing education and an extensive volunteer recognition program.
