    Description

    About the Project

We are compiling a comprehensive financial literacy curriculum designed to empower individuals transitioning from crisis toward long-term independence. We are seeking a detail-oriented writer to draft Module 2, focusing on securing physical and digital financial footprints to establish total autonomy.

    Assignment & Topic Areas

You will write a complete educational module (approx. 1,500–2,000 words) covering highly practical safety steps:

    • Digital Footprint Audit: Clear steps for changing passwords, clearing browser histories safely, and identifying potential device tracking or spyware.
    • Securing Accounts & Documentation: How to open confidential accounts at new financial institutions and safeguard critical documents (SSNs, birth certificates) physically or via secure, hidden cloud storage.
    • Safe Communication Pathways: Setting up secure contact methods, including P.O. Boxes, secondary email accounts, or state-sponsored Address Confidentiality Programs.
    • Interactive Exercises: Design a functional Document Safe-Box Log table helping users inventory critical physical documents (ID, Passport, SSN) and track whether they are secured, backed up, or need replacement.

    Desired Tone & Style

Pragmatic, clear, empowering, and highly security-conscious. Instructions must be simple, direct, and free of overwhelming technical jargon.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent technical or informational writing skills.
    • Familiarity with digital privacy, safety planning, advocacy, or cybersecurity fundamentals.
    • Ability to structure highly actionable step-by-step guides.
