    Be a source of comfort and companionship to those in need.

    We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Patient Care Volunteers for hospice. This role provides invaluable non medical support to patients living with a terminal illness, as well as their caregivers and families. Volunteers have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference through simple yet impactful acts of kindess and connections.

    Responsibilites as an Volunteer Include:

    • Offers comapnionship and a listening ear.
    • Engage in social activities such as reading, playing games, coloring, writing letters, and completing puzzles.
    • Provides caregiver relief so families can run errands.
    • Assist with light household tasks such as watering plants, walking pets, washing dishes, or emptying trash.

    What To Expect:

    • Volunteers have the freedom of creating their own schedules, with visits starting at a minium of 45 minutes and as long as 2 hours, (more or less hours may be needed depending on patient/caregiver).
    • No medical background is needed, our volunteers DO NOT perform any medical or personal care tasks such as bathing, administering medication, or transferring patients.
