    Musical aptitude, ability to play entire songs, ability to connect and communicate well with people with challenges, interest in working with patients at end-of-life, have a caring heart and compassionate nature, be friendly and patient.

    Description

    Music Therapy Students:

    Volunteer as little as 1-2 times per month, or more if you're interested

    Work alongside our hospice team to provide support and care at end-of-life

    Collect practicum hours, sharpen your skills

    Give the gift of joy, peace, and calm to our hospice patients in their own homes or at our Hospice House (you choose your location)

    Olathe Hospice opened in 1983 and is one of the oldest hospices in the KC Metro area. We are a not-for-profit and our primary concern is always our patients. If you think you're interested in becoming part of our team, let's chat about the role and see if it aligns with your interests!
