    Description

Help make 8,000 lunch bags to reduce hunger in our community 6/20

We will join forces with 100 other volunteer groups in a big gymnasium to put together 8,000 sandwiches and lunch bags. The meals will be delivered to 30 sites to help feed many people affected by food insecurity. You will be helping veterans, seniors, homeless, refugees, migrants, and women and children affected by domestic violence. This monthly project is Chicago's largest feeding project on a single morning, with an impact of helping 8,000 people with a meal that is made with care and love. Come volunteer with your friends and family. This event is handicap accessible. We can accommodate large volunteer groups, up to 50 people on our site or we can bring the project to your corporate office if you have a company service project in mind.

This event is great for sports teams, class or alumni groups, senior groups, family gatherings.

Our future event dates are Saturday May 9th and June 20th
