    Description

    Digital Literacy Through Podcasting

Empowering youth through media, mental health, and digital skills

We’ve just partnered with 7 schools to launch our Digital Literacy Through Podcasting program — a creative, tech-forward initiative that blends digital literacy with mental health awareness. As we ramp up operations, we’re looking for a Volunteer Program Coordinator to help us stay organized and responsive during this exciting growth phase.

This is a volunteer role designed with care: we understand the importance of mental health and personal balance, so we’ll work around your schedule and only ask you to take on what feels manageable. Your support will help offset the workload while our Executive Director focuses on securing grant funding — we’re not funded yet, but we’re building something powerful.

    What You Might Help With

    • Coordinating with school staff to schedule sessions and align goals.
    • Supporting volunteers and facilitators with onboarding and scheduling.
    • Organizing curriculum materials and tracking progress across schools.
    • Managing logistics like equipment, tech access, and session prep.
    • Communicating with schools and our internal team.
    • Documenting outcomes and helping us improve through feedback.

You don’t have to do all of this — we’ll tailor the role to your strengths and availability.

    🕒 Time Commitment

Flexible and remote-friendly. We’ll work with your availability and boundaries.

    💡 Ideal For Someone Who

    • Enjoys organizing and managing details.
    • Communicates well and works independently.
    • Has experience in education, youth programs, or media (not required).
    • Values mental health, equity, and creative education.

    Why This Matters

We’re in a startup phase, building momentum with school partners while awaiting funding. Your support helps us lay the foundation for a program that empowers students through storytelling, media production, and digital literacy — all with mental wellness in mind.
