Position Overview
We are seeking a Volunteer Loss Prevention Officer to help safeguard our organization’s assets, ensure compliance with internal policies, and support a secure and ethical environment. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who wants to contribute to a meaningful mission while gaining valuable experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and help prevent potential financial or operational risks
- Assist in reviewing internal processes and identifying areas for improvement
- Support basic audits and documentation of procedures
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices
- Report concerns or irregularities to leadership
- Help promote a culture of accountability and transparency
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and integrity
- Interest in compliance, security, finance, or nonprofit operations
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or auditing (preferred but not required)
