We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences that delight our users. The ideal candidate is passionate about user-centered design, has a keen eye for detail, and excels at turning complex problems into elegant solutions.

    • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
    • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
    • Translate complex concepts into simple, clear, and attractive user interfaces.
    • Maintain and contribute to design systems and ensure consistency across products.
    • Iterate quickly and effectively based on feedback and evolving requirements.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
    • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
    • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to balance user needs with organizational goals.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
    • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
    • Experience designing for both web and native mobile apps.
    • Knowledge of branding and visual design principles.

    What we Offer:

    • Experience working with a purpose-driven non-profit organization.
    • Collaboration with a diverse, passionate, and supportive team.
    • Networking opportunities within the Empowered Futures community.
