    Rooted Interiors is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to designing and fully furnishing families’ homes as they transition from homelessness to permanent housing.     Role Overview

    As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will serve as an essential component of Rooted Interiors’ internal efforts to stay organized and efficient in our work to furnish families’ homes. In this role you will take ownership of all tasks related to keeping inventory of our donation warehouses, assist our designers with pulling items for our client families, and help our team with arranging donation pick-up and drop-off appointments. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about non-profit work, advocating for people transitioning out of unstable housing situations, and applying organizational skills to managing calendars and inventory.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Become deeply familiar with donation guide requirements and donation acceptance processes
    • Create and maintain inventory tracking process for donated items held in storage
    • Assist in organizing items in donation storage units for designer packing days/item pull days
    • Take ownership of all procedures involving donation storage units, including working with designers during pull days, accepting donation drop-offs, and inventory

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma (any experience in a logistics or warehouse coordinator role preferred)
    • Experience with spreadsheet software (G Sheets, Microsoft Excel) for inventory tracking purposes
    • In possession of active driver’s license (for purposes of receiving donations at storage sites)
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Strong collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrates creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and compassion for our cause
    • Ability to lift (or team lift) heavy items, up to 150 lbs
