Journalist

Divas Who Win Freedom Center is seeking a passionate Journalism/Storytelling long term volunteer to help support Divas Daily, our growing YouTube community focused on recovery, hope, faith, and real-life testimonies. This role is centered around storytelling and helping interview guests share their experiences in a meaningful and authentic way.

The Journalism volunteer will primarily work off camera during interviews, helping guide conversations and asking thoughtful questions that allow interviewees to comfortably share their testimonies and personal stories. Their role is not to be the focus of the video, but to help create a safe and natural conversation that helps people open up and tell their story clearly and honestly.

Responsibilities may include:

• Helping write and develop interview questions
• Asking off-camera interview questions during testimony recordings
• Helping guide conversations in a natural and compassionate way
• Supporting guests in sharing their experiences comfortably
• Helping shape storytelling ideas and interview topics
• Assisting with content planning for Divas Daily

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and writing skills
• Interest in journalism, storytelling, media, or interviewing
• Compassionate and respectful when hearing personal stories
• Comfortable helping guide conversations off camera
• Passion for helping people share their voices and experiences

Divas Daily is connected to Divas Who Win Freedom Center, a nonprofit that supports women recovering from addiction, trauma, mental health struggles, and sex trafficking. Through testimonies, prayers, and honest conversations, our mission is to spread hope, encouragement, healing, and restoration through real voices and real stories.
