Description
Join the SOS Sisterhood Leadership Committee and help empower young girls through mentorship, leadership, and sisterhood! As a committee member, you will collaborate with a small, passionate team to plan and execute programs, support fundraising initiatives, and engage the community. This unpaid position provides hands-on experience in youth development, event planning, community outreach, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating events and activities for girls.
- Support fundraising and sponsorship efforts, including donation drives and grant support.
- Help recruit, manage, and coordinate volunteers for events and activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and partners.
- Mentor and support girls in peer-led leadership and mentorship activities.
Qualifications:
- Passion for youth development, mentorship, and community service.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to commit to monthly committee meetings and assist with events.
- Experience in event planning, fundraising, volunteer coordination, or mentorship is a plus but not required.
- Positive, professional, and collaborative attitude.
