    Description

    Join the SOS Sisterhood Leadership Committee and help empower young girls through mentorship, leadership, and sisterhood! As a committee member, you will collaborate with a small, passionate team to plan and execute programs, support fundraising initiatives, and engage the community. This unpaid position provides hands-on experience in youth development, event planning, community outreach, and leadership.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in planning and coordinating events and activities for girls.
    • Support fundraising and sponsorship efforts, including donation drives and grant support.
    • Help recruit, manage, and coordinate volunteers for events and activities.
    • Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and partners.
    • Mentor and support girls in peer-led leadership and mentorship activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for youth development, mentorship, and community service.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to commit to monthly committee meetings and assist with events.
    • Experience in event planning, fundraising, volunteer coordination, or mentorship is a plus but not required.
    • Positive, professional, and collaborative attitude.
