    Brand Ambassador and Community Engagement Volunteer

    The role of the Presenter Team Member and the Events Team Member is vital in making a significant impact on our team. Their ability to conduct engaging presentations not only helps recruit new volunteers but also strengthens the organization's community presence.

    The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.​

    Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you have a knack for creativity and communication?

    Join the Red Cross Volunteer Recruitment Team as an Presenter Volunteer or as an Events Team Member! In this role, you will play a critical part in attracting new volunteers by enhancing our outreach efforts through various local partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Outreach to schedule presentations
    • Represent Red Cross during presentations
    • Manage follow ups and data entry
    • Update materials as needed
    • Coordinates tabling events and requests

    • Collaborate with Engagement Team during Volunteer Recognition

    Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Creative, proactive, and enthusiastic about community service
    • Ability to drive to event or business locations

    Requirements:

    • A commitment of at least 6 months and 4 hours per month.
    • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (a Red Cross vehicle and gas card will be provided).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A professional and positive attitude.
    • A willingness to learn and follow the Red Cross policies and procedures
