Become a ReStore Digital Marketing Volunteer!
Join our dynamic, energetic team to help keep the ReStore running smoothy! Work with the store manager and staff to help with posting items on craigslist, eBay, mobile apps and other online sales sites to bring in more revenue and customers to the store. Research new and improved advertising & marketing ideas and procedures for the store and staff. We are constantly striving to improve our systems, and we need your help!
Responsibilities:
- Photograph merchandise to post on craigslist, eBay, Flickr, mobile applications, and other online sales sites
- Email and phone correspondence with customers regarding items that are posted online
- Update and delete postings as necessary
- Help keep offices organized
- Answer phones, assist customers when necessary
Requirements:
- Knowledge of and commitment to the philosophy of Habitat for Humanity
- Great customer service toward donors and ReStore customers
- Ability to work closely with staff, donors, volunteers, Habitat homeowners and customers
- Independent worker
- Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with online and mobile app postings is preferred
- Cooperative attitude
Training: On-site training is provided, and most volunteers are fully trained within a month.
Commitment: 1 day a week for at least a 6-month minimum
