    Description

    BAMSI Brown Bag Program

The BAMSI Brown Bag Food Program is hosted at Teen Challenge and powered by dedicated volunteers from BAMSI and the local community. It's a remarkable team effort involving unloading food, packing 700+ bags, and delivering them to deserving individuals in our community. There are four different volunteer shifts available to sign up for:

Team #1- Unload: You will assist with unloading the semi-truck of over 14,000 pounds of food. This will be very physical work that will take some heavy lifting.

Team #2- Pack: You will take the unloaded food and be a part of an assembly line to package the food.

Team #3- Help load bags onto the truck, drive to Caffrey Towers in Brockton where you will unload the bags from the truck & deliver to residents. (755 Crescent Street).

Team #4- Deliver: Help load bags onto the truck, drive to Campello High Rise in Brockton where you will unload the bags from the truck & deliver to residents. (1380 Main Street)

The BAMSI Brown Bag takes place every 3rd Thursday of the month in Brockton! Weather permitting the work will be performed outdoors. Please dress accordingly!
