    Description

    Position Summary

    The Partnerships & Sponsorships Lead develops and manages strategic relationships that expand the organization’s reach, strengthen community engagement, and generate financial and in-kind support. This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and stewarding partnerships with sponsors, nonprofits, community groups, and local businesses in support of the organization’s mission.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with corporations, nonprofits, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations.
    • Research and secure sponsorship opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission.
    • Develop sponsorship packages and customized partnership proposals.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for sponsors and partners.
    • Maintain regular communication and track partnership commitments and renewals.
    • Collaborate with Communications, Programs, and Leadership on partnership initiatives.
    • Prepare reports on partnership activity, sponsorship revenue, and impact.
    • Support volunteer recruitment through community partnerships when appropriate.

    Qualifications

    • Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, community engagement, or partnership management.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
    • Passion for community service and the organization’s mission.

    Preferred

    • Experience with corporate sponsorships or nonprofit partnerships.
    • Familiarity with CRM or donor management systems.
    • Experience working with nonprofit or volunteer-led teams.
