    Bridgeway Foundation LBG is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in the United States and Ghana dedicated to building resilient communities through equitable access to health, education, economic empowerment, and social welfare programs. Guided by a vision to help individuals recognize their value and reach their full potential, the foundation implements innovative and sustainable initiatives that uplift marginalized populations, particularly women, children, and underserved communities.

    Founded on core values of integrity, inclusion, collaboration, and compassion, Bridgeway Foundation partners with local and international stakeholders to drive meaningful social impact across Ghana’s regions. Its work spans healthcare outreach, girl-child education, livelihood support, and community development, with an emphasis on long-term transformation and community ownership.

    Training:

    Grant writer experience is a must. Excellent written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, office equipment, the internet, and computers.

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented, mission-aligned grant writer to help us increase our funding capacity. You’ll help draft compelling applications, refine narratives, and track submissions that will fund our Stay in School initiative, Ability without Limits, Community Impact Projects, Skills & Startup Empowerment, and Health for Purpose initiative campaigns. Your contribution will directly support Bridgeway in action.

    This role requires exceptional writing abilities, strong research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate our organization's mission and impact to potential funders.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research potential grant opportunities from various sources
    • Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to gather information and develop grant proposals that align with organizational goals and priorities.
    • Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate the organization's mission, objectives, and impact.
    • Ensure that all grant proposals are submitted on time and meet the requirements of the funding source.
    • Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes
    • Build and maintain relationships with funders and grant-making organizations
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and funding opportunities to maximize success in securing grants.
