RACE AMBASSADOR
Newport News Jingle Bell Run | Saturday, December 5
Richmond Jingle Bell Run | Sunday, December 6
Primary Objective:
Help grow participation by connecting the Jingle Bell Run with local run clubs and running communities across Charlotte.
Role Overview:
Race Ambassadors serve as the “boots on the ground” within the local running community. This role is all about building relationships, spreading the word, and encouraging runners to show up, bring their friends, and be part of the Jingle Bell Run.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, with increased outreach in the 2–3 months leading up to event day.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Connect with local run clubs and invite them to participate in the Jingle Bell Run
- Share event details through group chats, social media, and club communications
- Attend group runs (when possible) to promote the event and build excitement
- Encourage team formation and friendly competition among clubs
- Serve as a visible, enthusiastic advocate within the running community
Additional Ways You’ll Support
- Provide feedback on what resonates with runners
- Help identify new run clubs or groups to engage
- Support event-day energy by showing up and bringing your community with you
This is volunteer role. Ambassadors do NOT receive financial compensation of any kind.
