    Volunteer Development Manager in Uganda

    PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE) is a charity NGO operating in Fort Portal Tourism City, Kabarole district, Rwenzori region of Western Uganda advocating for the protection and promotion of the rights of vulnerable children, youth and women. www.platformfortheneedyuganda.org

    Our focus areas are Health , Gender Based Violence, Human Rights, Education for needy children and orphans, empowerment for youth and women emphasis on teen mothers, livelihoods , environment conserve, peace building and conflict resolution.

    PLANE is now looking for a Volunteer Development Manager who will identify , develop and cultivate new partnerships with corporate companies, civic, health and educational institutions and individual partners to increase volunteerism and expand volunteer opportunities and impact.

    As a Volunteer Development Manager , you will recruit , oversee the performance and data tracking of the volunteers and ambassadors.

    You will also be ensuring the development and improvement of volunteering experience , champaioning volunteering and contributing to the growth and developing of volunteering.

    We are therefore seeking for a skilled, passionate committed candidate to ensure the designing, development and implementation of innovative and effective volunteer roles and programmes, empowering them to deliver quality volunteer experience.

    This opportunity position suits graduates and students of Development Studies, International Relations, Marketing and communications, Business Administration, Business Management and social sciences and those with back ground experiences in management and fundraising
