    Red Cross New York State Disaster Liaison Volunteer

    Red Cross New York State Disaster Liaison Volunteer

    Department: Disaster Services

    Location: Remote and In-person

    Help New York prepare and respond to disasters as a State Disaster Liaison Volunteer.

    How will you help:

    • Staff the Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
    • Connect Red Cross with state & FEMA teams
    • Support disaster planning across NY

    What we are looking for:

    • Strong communication & relationship skills
    • Experience with leaders/government partners
    • Flexibility, professionalism & problem-solving mindset
    • Commitment of 20 hrs/month
    • 2‑week annual deployment (travel to NY/NJ may be needed)
