    Description

    Many individuals living with dementia spend much of their day in bed or with limited mobility. While they may not always communicate clearly, they are still present — still feeling, remembering, and responding to kindness.

    We are seeking compassionate volunteers to serve as Bedside Companions who bring comfort, gentle engagement, and companionship to individuals living with dementia.

    Play simple card or board games

    Work on large-piece puzzles together

    Read short stories, devotionals, or poetry aloud

    Look through photo books and reminisce

    Color or do simple crafts

    Listen to music and sing familiar songs

    Offer conversation, presence, and reassurance
