To help raise awareness and funds for Hope Street Free Clinic (HSFC)/Hope Street International Missions (HSIM), which provides free healthcare in the US and medical camps in Africa (Uganda) . The role provides hands-on nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience ideal for students pursuing business, public health, marketing, or pre-med paths.
⚙️ Position Description
Title: Volunteer Fundraising Manager / Fundraising Intern
Reports to: Executive Director / Development Coordinator
Commitment: 4–6 hours per week (flexible, remote or hybrid)
Duration: Minimum 3 months (longer preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and managing fundraising campaigns (e.g., Christmas, Giving Tuesday, Zeffy campaigns).
- Help organize small donor drives — both online and in-person.
- Create engaging social media, email, or flyer content to attract supporters.
- Research potential grants, donors, and local business sponsors.
- Track and acknowledge donations through online platforms.
- Support event planning (e.g., annual anniversary, awareness drives).
- Brainstorm innovative ways to raise funds or in-kind donations (e.g., food, supplies, medical kits).
