    Description

    Help Amplify Blind & Low-Vision Voices

    The Role

    Help bring stories, updates, and impact to life through engaging newsletters for the Modest Foundation. This is a flexible, remote volunteer role where your writing will connect our community, highlight important initiatives, and strengthen our voice.

    You’ll collaborate with a small team and shape content that informs, inspires, and drives engagement.

    What You’ll Help With

    Writing and editing monthly or bi-weekly newsletters

    Translating updates into clear, engaging stories

    Highlighting community impact, events, and initiatives

    Collaborating on content ideas and structure

    Optional: formatting newsletters using email tools

    Who Should Apply

    Students or early-career professionals in communications or marketing

    Writers looking to build a portfolio

    Content creators and storytellers

    Anyone passionate about disability advocacy and meaningful communication

    Strong writing skills are important. Experience with newsletters or email tools is a plus, but not required.
