    Description

Handmade Valentine's Day cards for children with rare medical conditions

CC4C works to enhance the quality of life for children with rare and undiagnosed medical conditions.

    SIGN UP HERE: Project Valentine

You can help bring a smile to the face of a CC4C child by creating hand-made personalized Valentine's Day cards. You do not need to be an artist! This is an opportunity for anyone who wants to help.

Details and signup are available on our website but key points are:

    1. Cards should include Valentine's Day wishes only. These are NOT “get well” cards and should not reference the child’s diagnosis or medical situation.
      1. NO: "I'm sorry you're sick" "You're so brave."
      2. YES: "Happy Valentine's Day!" "I like mermaids, too!"
    2. If you make multiple cards for more than one child, please give them to us pre-sorted (ie, paper-clipped or rubber-banded together . . . a stack for Mikayla, another stack for Jonah.)
    3. Please record your volunteer time on our CC4C Volunteer Hours Form. (For our internal records.) The link: Volunteer Hours Form

We will sign hours verifications for volunteers who need it for school or work organizations. There is a limit of 5 hours of credit per month per volunteer for this project. If you need proof of your volunteer service, please email a photo of your cards along with a PDF of the form you need signed to aahmann@cc4c.org. Cards must be handmade. We do NOT sign verifications for court-mandated volunteer hours.
