Share Yourself With A Hospice Patient, As A Friendly Visitor

Horizon Home Care & Hospice is looking for that special volunteer to bring joy to the life of a hospice patient, just by sharing yourself. If you're seeking a rewarding experience and have a couple extra hours a week to spare, visiting an in-home hospice patient may be just what you are looking for. To ensure your safety, and the safety of our patients and staff, Horizon follows all CDC guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Wearing a mask/face covering if not vaccinated
• Maintaining social distancing of 6 feet or more
• Self-quarantining if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, chills, cough or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea)
• Washing hands and/or sanitizing often
• Disinfecting work areas before and after use

Horizon will provide all necessary protective equipment and supplies to ensure that all safe practices can be followed.
