Become a Hospice Volunteer with Elara Caring

Make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Elara Caring, one of the nation’s largest providers of home-based and hospice care, is looking for compassionate volunteers to offer companionship and emotional support to local hospice patients and their families.

We are now accepting in-person volunteers!

Your time can bring comfort and joy through simple but meaningful activities such as:

• Reading stories

• Making crafts

• Playing games

• Heartfelt conversations

• Offering emotional support during the end-of-life journey

Flexible Scheduling:

Donate just one hour a week - weekdays, evenings, or weekends - whatever works best for you.

Volunteer Requirements:

To ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, all volunteers must complete a background check and TB test as required by the Texas Department of Public Health.
