    Medicare considers hospice volunteers employees who don't get paid. They must be cleared through Human Resources like any other employee. TB test, background check, mini physical and volunteer training to be completed prior to patient visits.

    Volunteer Hairdresser for Hospice Patients

    Volunteer licensed hairdressers are needed to cut hospice patients' hair. No coloring, perms, etc. This is a very needed, appreciated and loved service. Patients feel rejuvenated! If you would like to make a positive difference in some one's last days, please contact Family Hospice Care. We would enjoy having you on our team.

    Patients are located throughout the Coachella Valley. You will only be offered patients in the areas you are comfortable traveling to.
