    Description

    Overview

We are looking for a creative and organized volunteer to help elevate our digital presence and amplify our mission. While we currently share our work on Instagram, we are ready to expand our reach to Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant social channels. This role is perfect for a storytelling enthusiast who loves creating engaging content, organizing digital campaigns, and helping us connect with a broader community of supporters.

    Responsibilities

    • Content Creation: Draft compelling copy, graphics, and short-form video concepts (like Reels/Stories) that showcase our important work and impact.
    • Channel Expansion: Help establish and maintain our presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other high-potential platforms.
    • Social Media Calendar: Develop and maintain a structured monthly social media calendar to ensure consistent posting.
    • Scheduling & Publishing: Pre-schedule approved posts using scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite) following final review and approval.
    • Engagement Monitoring: Keep an eye on comments and messages across platforms, bringing important community interactions to the team's attention.

    Qualifications

    • Strong familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn (experience with social media management or scheduling tools is a plus!).
    • Excellent written communication skills with a knack for storytelling and a keen eye for detail/grammar.
    • Basic graphic design skills (proficiency with Canva or similar tools is highly preferred).
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage time effectively, and take constructive feedback on content drafts.

    Time Commitment

We are looking for a commitment of roughly 5 hours per week. This is a remote-friendly position! We are happy to provide proof of volunteering and a certificate upon completion.

A resume or LinkedIn profile is required for screening of career background and location of volunteer.
