    Powered By Love: Resource & Restoration Chair (The 831 Experience)

    The Mission

    Powered By Love is a people-powered nonprofit committed to uplifting unhoused and marginalized communities by providing essential resources with dignity and compassion. We are looking for a Resource & Restoration Chair to lead the "The 831 Experience" resource logistics. This 48-hour restorative journey moves 75 unhoused neighbors through eight touchpoints of care, concluding in a formal family-style Gala dinner. You will oversee the 9-month clothing drive and assembly of 100 customized Premium Restoration Backpacks to ensure a safe, organized, and dignified environment for our Phoenix event.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Clothing Drive: Manage a 9-month donation campaign to collect high-quality clothing.
    • Sorting Parties: Organize and lead community "Sorting Parties" to process donations.
    • Backpack Assembly: Oversee the creation of 75 customized Premium Restoration Backpacks.
    • Inventory Control: Ensure all resources are accounted for and meet quality standards.
    • Distribution Strategy: Coordinate the physical delivery of resources on the day of the event.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Organizational Skills: Experience in inventory management or donation drive logistics.
    • Community Mindset: Passion for serving unhoused populations with dignity.
    • Commitment: Ability to complete 220 hours of work leading up to and during the event.
    • Local Presence: Must be local to Phoenix, Arizona for onsite requirements.

    Commitment & Compensation

    • This is a volunteer chair position requiring a total of 220 hours. A $5,000 stipend is provided (subject to funding availability) to support The 831 Experience
