    Description

Bridge the gap between food waste and hunger volunteer at La Soupe

Become a Food Rescue Volunteer with La Soupe. La Soupe saves perishables foods from going to waste at farms, grocers and wholesalers. The food is then made into healthy, delicious meals by chefs and volunteers and distributed to roughly 150 share partners that feed the food insecure. As a Food Rescue volunteer you will use own vehicle to pick up the donated food at various locations around the city and then drop the food off at La Soupe.

All specifics such as load size, appropriate vehicle size, site address/location, general expected mileage and time of travel, and point of contact for each specific site will be provided upon sign up of the shift. All shifts are self-scheduled and managed on an application called Food Rescue (FRU)

Whatever your passion and purpose is, we are here to connect you to local nonprofits. RSVP is exclusive to those 55 years+ and residents of Greater Cincinnati.
