    Description

    🌍 10 Month Development Volunteer Programme

    🌍 Development Volunteer programme (10 months)

    Destinations: Southern Africa or India

    Start dates: February and July 2026

    Periods of the programme:

    3 months: Studies and preparations at CICD in the north-east of England. You study international and economic development, the reasons for poverty and climate change and much more, you train practical and organisational skills, work together and form a good team!

    6 months: Volunteering period at a community development project in an African country or India, run by Humana People to People. Together with your team mates you work with areas such as health, education, environment and farming together with a local NGO and the community.

    1 month: You reflect and conclude on your experiences, and share with others through presentations, articles, films, poems, theatre....
