TGIA Volunteer Board of Directors Opportunity

Talented Girls in Action is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls through leadership development, mentorship, education, and community engagement. We create safe, supportive spaces where girls can discover their talents, build confidence, and take action to positively impact their communities.

Board Service Overview

Talented Girls in Action is seeking passionate, mission-aligned individuals to serve on our Volunteer Board of Directors. Board members play a vital role in governance, strategy, and sustainability of the organization.

Time Commitment: Approximately 2–5 hours per month

Requirements:

• Attend monthly board meetings
• Serve on at least one committee
• Actively support the mission and programs of TGA

Open Board Positions

Fundraising Chair

The Fundraising Chair leads efforts to secure financial resources that sustain and grow TGA’s programs.

• Guide fundraising strategy and initiatives
• Support donor engagement and special events
• Collaborate with board and committees on fundraising goals

Treasurer

The Treasurer provides financial oversight and ensures fiscal responsibility.

• Monitor the organization’s financial health
• Review budgets, financial reports, and expenditures
• Support compliance and sound financial practices

Vice President

The Vice President supports the President and provides leadership across the board.

• Assist with board management and strategic planning
• Step in for the President when needed
• Support committees and special initiatives
