Description Two Bit Circus Foundation is looking for working STEAM professionals to participate in Meet the Makers at the Hawthorne School District STEAM Expo — a free community event that draws thousands of kids and families. Think of it as a career fair the Two Bit Circus Foundation way: no folding tables and brochures, just real people doing real work in front of curious kids. Meet the Makers is a dedicated area where professionals set up a small workstation and let kids see their craft in action. You can work live on something, demonstrate your process, or exhibit finished work and talk about it. Hawthorne is a working-class South Bay community where many kids don't have regular access to STEAM professionals or enrichment. For a lot of them, this will be their first time watching someone code, weld, sketch, or build — and asking questions about how it works and how they could do it too.

What you'll do Set up a workstation and share your craft with kids and families through live work, process demonstrations, or exhibits and conversation.

Who we're looking for Artists, engineers, fabricators, programmers, designers, architects, photographers — anyone in a STEAM field with a visual or hands-on practice.

Benefits Lunch provided and $30 travel stipend.
