Opportunity Description

Lean Impact Alliance is seeking a volunteer Nonprofit Partnerships & Outreach Coordinator to help us build relationships with nonprofit organizations, community groups, and potential program partners.

This founding volunteer will help identify organizations that could benefit from operational improvement, digital modernization, data support, and responsible AI adoption. The volunteer will also help us understand community needs and recruit participants for future pilot programs.

Responsibilities

• Research nonprofits and community organizations in Worcester County and Central Massachusetts.
• Build and maintain an organized prospective-partner contact list.
• Schedule and support nonprofit discovery conversations.
• Help document organizations’ operational, technology, data, and capacity-building needs.
• Introduce Lean Impact Alliance’s programs and partnership opportunities.
• Follow up with interested organizations and maintain relationship records.
• Support recruitment for pilot programs, workshops, and assessments.
• Provide regular updates on outreach activity and potential partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, organized, and dependable.
• Comfortable communicating with nonprofit leaders and community organizations.
• Experience in nonprofit work, community engagement, outreach, partnerships, business development, or customer relations is helpful.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, spreadsheets, or contact-tracking tools is helpful.
• Interest in nonprofit capacity building, technology, responsible AI, data-informed decision-making, or community development.
• Ability to work independently while communicating regularly with organizational leadership.
