    Description

Computer Basics at the Boccardo Reception Center

Do you have basic computer knowledge and enjoy teaching? Clients at our shelter can have a difficult time using the computer, some haven’t used a computer in their life, and others just aren’t used to technology. Job searching, resources, and many other things are done through the computer and if they had the skills to use it, it could be life changing.

Things you would be teaching: How to turn the computer on, what the mouse does, how to create an email account, how to navigate your email, keyboard functions, using Google, etc.

If you have any questions or would like more information please out to Jen Campsey at jen.campsey@homefirstscc.org or 669-365-4888.

    Location

    On-site
2011 Little Orchard Street, San Jose, California, US

There is also a "Getting Started with CERVIS" Guide for volunteers that we recommend you review.
