Description
Peace for Every Pet is a new organization and we could really use a volunteer CPA!
I have created a comprehensive Google workbook via Claude to help budget and create financial statements, but I am the veterinarian who will be providing the program services and not an accountant.
What you would provide:
- Tax preparation and compliance
- Tax planning
- Advisory support
- Cash-flow guidance
- Clear financial reporting
- Help becoming audit-ready
- Help prepping for and filing 990-EZ vs 990-N (probably not this year, but hopefully next year as our revenue isn't very high yet)
- Help setting up our accounts so that we (or possibly a volunteer bookkeeper) can maintain our finances on a monthly basis and make financial statements
- Anything else you find we should know how to do/do better
Ultimately, we are only just getting started and we want to start with the right strategy so we don't have to clean up huge messes later. Thank you for your interest!
