    Description

Seniors living throughout Snohomish County have very few options for transportation. Be a helpful neighbor by being a volunteer driver! Take seniors and disabled adults to their medical appointments, grocery shopping, essential errands and to get prescriptions. Volunteer as little or as much as your schedule allows. Help really make a difference in a person's life. Enjoy the feeling of knowing someone will have food or their medications because of you.

Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income elders and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.

Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application form, pass a background check, provide driver's license and auto insurance, and attend an orientation and training. If providing transportation, must be 21 years of age and over. We provide mileage reimbursement and volunteers will need to pass a driver's abstract.
