    Description

    Do you care about creating a safe and healthy environment for everyone in your community? Join us in protecting our community from lead poisoning! We're looking for dedicated volunteers to help raise awareness about lead poisoning prevention, provide resources for lead poisoning and SERI's other programs, and ensure families have access to safe, lead-free, and healthy environments.

    Responsibilities

    • Engage with the community - educate about lead poisoning prevention, attend outreach events, canvass neighborhoods, etc.
    • Test household items for lead contamination
    • Educate about lead poisoning prevention in your neighborhood
    • Refer qualifying families to the City of Tucson Lead Hazard Reduction Program
    • Contribute to a holistically healthy environment for families by offering the different programs that SERI has available for low-income communities
