    Description

    Job Title: Shopify Graphic Designer

    Location: Remote

    Department: Marketing

    Reports To: Marketing Department Director

    Type: Internship (Part-Time) (Unpaid)

    Duration: 4 Months

    Job Descriptions:

    • Design visually appealing graphics and digital assets for Resilience Inc.’s Shopify store, ensuring alignment with brand identity and SEL-focused messaging.
    • Create product images, banners, promotional graphics, and collection visuals that enhance user experience and support merchandise sales.
    • Develop graphics for SEL-inspired merchandise (e.g., apparel, stickers, classroom materials) that reinforce resilience and emotional health themes.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to design campaign-based store visuals for promotions, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.
    • Optimize images for Shopify performance, including proper sizing, compression, and mobile responsiveness.
    • Design and update store UI elements such as homepage banners, featured collections, icons, and promotional sections.
    • Support A/B testing of visual elements to improve engagement and conversion rates.
    • Maintain consistency across Shopify visuals and social media marketing assets to ensure cohesive branding.
    • Organize design files and manage Shopify media libraries for efficient access and version control.
    • Incorporate accessibility considerations (clear typography, readable layouts, inclusive visuals) into store design.

    Requirements:

    • Strong alignment with Resilience Inc.’s mission and values, including commitment to promoting social and emotional health and resilience-building through SEL initiatives.
    • Experience designing e-commerce graphics, preferably for Shopify or similar platforms.
    • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, Figma, or equivalent.
    • Understanding of e-commerce design principles (conversion-focused visuals, product presentation, mobile optimization).
    • Ability to translate SEL concepts into appealing merchandise visuals suitable for students, families, and educators.
    • Strong attention to detail, especially with image sizing, formatting, and visual consistency.
    • Creative mindset with ability to propose new product visual concepts and merchandising ideas.
    • Organized with strong file management and asset tracking habits.
    • Able to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
    • Able to collaborate with a team and attend remote weekly meetings.
    • Reliable, punctual, and responsive in communication.
