Board Members & Volunteers needed for Washington's trusted resource for end of life choice

Help ensure dignified, affordable end-of-life care for everyone

People’s Memorial Association and the Co-op Funeral Home are seeking community-minded individuals to serve as Board Members and Volunteers. For more than 80 years, our organizations have helped individuals and families navigate end-of-life decisions with transparency, compassion, and affordability.

We are looking for people who care about community service, consumer advocacy, and ensuring respectful end-of-life options for all.

    Opportunities

    • Board Members: Provide governance and strategic guidance to help advance our mission. Board members participate in board meetings, support organizational sustainability, and help expand community awareness of our work.
    • Volunteers: Support outreach, educational events, and member engagement. Volunteers help us connect with the community and expand access to clear, compassionate information about end-of-life planning.

    We welcome individuals who:

    • Believe in dignity and transparency in end-of-life care
    • Want to contribute their skills, insight, or time to a mission-driven organization
    • Bring diverse professional backgrounds or lived experiences
    • Care about strengthening community resources in Washington State

Prior board or volunteer experience is welcome but not required. We welcome participants from all areas of Washington State.

Join us in helping individuals and families access compassionate, affordable end-of-life care.
