Ithaca Pride is 100% run by volunteers! We’re looking for friendly faces, creative decorators, logistics pros, and family-zone helpers to make this year’s festival unforgettable. Join friends & community members for a 2hr shift or more. You can change, swap, or cancel your shift up until the week of Pride, with options to support accessibility & capacity for all ages.

Extra Support Needed for Family Activities & Event Security

Can you help us by leading the family & kid-friendly activity booth on Sunday during the Pride Festival? Or by helping to oversee an existing safety plan? We still need 1-2 "super volunteers" who can help coordinate a dedicated team for fun activities throughout the day and to make our event as safe and secure as possible.

Just send us a quick note at ithacapridealliance@gmail.com with your interest. The time commitment is to be available during Sunday's Pride Community Festival, and ideally available for 1-2 hour long meetings before the event to coordinate.

All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt.

Volunteers will have access to water and snacks during their shift, and there are shifts for every ability! Saturday & Sunday vouchers for food from our vendors. The closing shift on Sunday will also have dinner provided.

You may sign up for as many shifts as fit your schedule, as long as they do not overlap. You can also change your shift up until the week of Pride - just come back to this website and use the same login information.
