    Description

JourneyCare Hospice is seeking a dependable volunteer to help transport weekly flower donations that are repurposed into flower arrangements that bring comfort and beauty to our hospice patients.

Each Monday morning, you’ll pick up donated flowers from Trader Joe’s in Glenview (Lake & Waukegan) between 8:00–8:30 am and deliver them to our Deerfield office (1717 Deerfield Road) by 9:00 am. When you arrive, our team will be there to help unload the flowers from your vehicle.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with an SUV or another vehicle with ample cargo space and availability on Monday mornings. It’s a weekly commitment, but one that makes a meaningful impact. The flower donations are lovingly arranged by a group of volunteers and shared with hospice patients to brighten their space and lift their spirits.

If you enjoy an early start, a simple route, and the chance to make a heartfelt difference each week, we’d love to have you join us!
