Description
Overview: Volunteers with a background in education can work as academic tutors for all grade levels. For ages 5-16, you can provide tutoring one-on-one or in small groups for students who need extra support. Volunteers who have experience working with older students and have academic expertise in a certain subject can provide tutoring to scholarship students who need support in their subjects or university courses. You need an advanced level of Spanish and must work as a tutor for a minimum of 3 weeks.
Requirements: Previous experience with education and tutoring. Self-motivated and organised. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently, but also function well as part of a team. Exhibit patience and positive attitudes in establishing an encouraging learning environment.
Level of Spanish: Intermediate/Advanced

Time Duration: Minimum commitment of 2 weeks
Hours: flexible
Volunteer Fee: All international volunteers are asked for a one-time donation of $75 to cover the administrative costs of running the volunteer program.
