Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Creative Video Producer & Editor to bring compelling visual stories to life. In this volunteer role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and editing engaging video content that educates, inspires, and resonates with diverse audiences. Your creativity, storytelling ability, and editing expertise will help elevate AfriGenetry Link's brand and amplify our mission across multiple digital platforms. If you're passionate about creating meaningful content and using your skills to make a real impact, we'd love to have you on our team. This is a volunteer position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and video ideas aligned with AfriGenetry Link's mission and campaigns.
• Produce and edit engaging short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, webinars, campaigns, and events.
• Transform scripts, interviews, and raw footage into compelling visual stories.
• Enhance videos with captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound, and other creative elements.
• Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing Team to execute content strategies.
• Ensure all video content reflects AfriGenetry Link's brand identity and messaging.
• Organize project files and deliver high-quality content within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
• Strong creative thinking and storytelling skills.
• Ability to develop original video concepts and bring ideas to life.
• Experience creating engaging content for social media platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
