Prosperity Now Atlanta Regional Summit | Seeking Volunteers Interested in Economic Opportunity

Prosperity Now is a national nonprofit organization advancing solutions that strengthen financial stability for families, small businesses, and communities. We work to support the field of work in housing and homeownership, child and family health, tax opportunities, and entrepreneurship and small businesses.

As part of this effort, Prosperity Now has been hosting regional summits across the country, beginning with San Diego, then Minneapolis and now Atlanta. We are hosting our final regional summit in Atlanta on Thursday, November 5 at the Loudermilk Conference Center and are recruiting ten (10) volunteers to support the event, including roles in registration, session stewards, wayfinders, and the like.

Volunteers will be asked to attend a short orientation session in-person or virtually, assist with minor set-up the morning of November 4, and then provide approximately 2 1.5-hour blocks of volunteer time during the summit on November 5. In consideration of their time, volunteers may attend sessions and plenaries when not actively working, and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and the closing reception.

We think this opportunity would be of interest to anyone interested in supporting local nonprofit organizations with enacting practices and policies that help people and families create financial stability and generational wealth. Of particular interest may be our opening plenary, led by our CEO Marisa Calderon and actress and producer Julissa Calderón discussing the state of prosperity and the role of storytelling, as well as the networking reception.
