    Pet-Loving Volunteer Needed in Federal Way!

    Location: 40th Ave SW, Federal Way, WA 98023

    Participant Profile:

    • Elderly individual with dementia (alert and cooperative)
    • Hearing and vision loss
    • Loves animals and would enjoy regular visits from a friendly pet and their human companion

    Opportunity:

    We’re seeking a compassionate volunteer with a gentle pet (dog, cat, or other friendly animal) to brighten the day of a senior who finds joy in animal companionship. Your visits can bring comfort, connection, and smiles to someone who truly appreciates the presence of a furry friend.

    Ideal Volunteer:

    • Has a calm, well-behaved pet
    • Enjoys spending time with seniors
    • Can commit to regular visits (weekly or biweekly)
    • Patient, kind, and respectful of sensory limitations
