It will help create a beautiful environment for people to enjoy viewing the outdoor sculptures.
🪴 Responsibilities and Duties: Every morning when the museum is open or expecting guests, make sure the garden, flower beds and walkways are cleaned of fallen leaves, palm fronds or fruit, and dispose of them. Rakes and blowers are available to use.
Once weekly, overall pruning, weeding, trimming and caretaking of plants is needed. Other activities include occasional planting and focused work on certain areas of the garden.
These duties may be shared between one or more individuals.
🪴 Qualifications: This job is for people 🌿 who enjoy working out of doors and don't mind getting dirty; 🌿 who will take pride in their work and in the garden.
It is not required but will be a bonus if you have experience or training in horticulture. Master Gardeners who need volunteer hours, and high schoolers seeking community service hours are always welcome.
🪴 Commitment Expected: Daily cleaning will take about 1 hour every morning during the weekdays starting at 8:30 AM to be finished before the public will come in.
Once-weekly weeding and pruning of plants could take a couple of hours, on the day of your choosing.
Again - These duties may be shared between one or more individuals. 😊
🪴 Training: In-person direction will be provided initially, to learn your way around the garden and garden shed.
